I'm a freelance software developer based out of Oklahoma City with over 10 years of programming experience. I previously worked as a petroleum seismologist where I wrote code to analyze seismic data. I pivoted to web development in 2021 and discovered that much of the web is needlessly slow and could be improved with better coding practices.

To that end, I began offering freelance services in April of 2024. My mission is to provide small businesses with high-quality, custom software that is secure, fast, and reliable. I accomplish this by coding each project from scratch and thoroughly testing it for security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and software bugs. How much will my project cost?

Consultations and proposals are provided at no charge. Websites typically range from $5,000 - $10,000 depending on the size and requirements of the project. Web applications and custom business tools can vary widely in complexity. I'll be able to provide an estimate once I learn more about your project. For support tickets and small tasks, I charge an hourly rate of $120/hr with a minimum charge of $10.

What happens if there's a bug in my code?

I offer a 90 day defect guarantee, during which period, I will fix bugs at no cost. After the 90 day period, I will charge my hourly rate for support tickets and bill on a monthly basis. You will have the opportunity to test your project for bugs prior to delivery.

Can I make changes to my project after delivery?

Yes, I offer 90 days of free edits after your project is delivered. Edits include changes to colors, fonts, text-content, images, and anything of similar scope. After the 90 day period, I will charge my hourly rate for edits and bill on a monthy basis. For larger requests, such as adding a new page, I will draft a proposal and provide a quote.

Who owns the code?

You will have 100% ownership of your code. Upon delivery, I will provide an information packet that includes instructions on how to access your code, domain, and hosting services. Although my goal is to be available to support your project over its lifetime, I can't guarantee that will always be the case. This process makes is possible for you to hire another developer to support your poject.
